Recognized for its advanced stroke treatment, the facility stands as a referral center in the region. It also serves as the region's provider for neurotrauma, orthopedic trauma, and burn and reconstructive care, holding the distinction of being the only level I trauma facility in the area.

The facility is known for offering high-quality care and advanced technologies and treatments across nearly every medical specialty, including emergency care for adults and children, heart care, neurology/neurosurgery, pregnancy and childbirth, orthopedics and joint replacement, cancer care, gastroenterology, liver care, gynecology, and urology.

Position Summary: The Surgical Technician plays a pivotal role in providing assistance during surgical procedures. Proficient in all facets of aseptic technique, the technician sets up necessary equipment and sterile supplies, manages case setups and breakdowns, and is well-versed in the requirements for various surgical procedures. The role demands a deep understanding of instrumentation, equipment, and supply needs for a wide range of surgical specialties. The Surgical Technician performs duties in line with their scope of practice, ensuring optimal care delivery.

Key Qualifications:

Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC).
CST Certification preferred.
Registration as a Surgical Tech by the state's Division of Regulatory Agencies.
Graduation from an accredited Operating Room Technicians program.
At least one year of experience in the role of a Surgery Technician.
Proficiency in the scrub role for most surgical specialties.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Shift Details: Shifts run from Monday to Thursday, 7 PM to 5 AM. No on-call duties, but rotating holidays are expected. Day shifts are also available, with flexibility and on-call requirements.
