Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Panama City, FL - Full-time

Overview: A reputable healthcare facility in Panama City, FL, is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their team. The facility is well-known for providing comprehensive healthcare services, including advanced cardiac assessment, women's services, emergency care, orthopedic procedures, and specialized pediatric care.

Job Summary, Duties and Responsibilities: The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing technical procedures using magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation to detect pathology. This role involves regulating equipment, producing magnetic and x-ray images, and organizing images in PACS. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts, covering areas such as head, neck, body, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; 3 years preferred
  • FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
  • ARRT (MR) Certification required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required

Schedule:

  • Shifts: Evenings, Nights, and Weekend Days
  • On-call: As needed
  • Call Back: Minimum 2 hours, time and a half
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
  • Relocation Assistance: Yes, if eligible
  • Shift Differentials: Nights ($5) and Weekends ($5)

Salary Range:

  • 2 years of experience: $29.89 per hour
  • 5 years of experience: $32.36 per hour
  • 10 years of experience: $36.95 per hour
  • 17 years (MAX): $39.76 per hour
