Salary Range: $67,496 (mid-range) + 10% annual base incentive bonus based on experience

Position Overview:
As the Patient Access Manager, you will assist the Director in the daily operations of all Patient Access functions and act as a liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

Adhere to the Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with patients.
Ensure staff adhere to patient experience expectations.
Oversee QA on registrations in all areas.
Address patient complaints promptly.
Supervise and maintain employee productivity.
Handle Dept. Operations Report, FTEs, and operating budgets.
Conduct monthly staff meetings and in-services.
Assume on-call responsibilities for adequate staffing and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in Patient Access in an acute care setting.
Consideration given to clinical managers/practice managers with at least 2 years of experience.

Reporting Structure:
Registrar -> Team Lead -> Manager -> Assistant Director -> Director

Top 3 Objectives:

Manage frontline registration staff in successful patient registration.
Oversee upfront cash collections, customer service, insurance verification, and address patient complaints.
Track and meet over 10 key performance indicators.
