Job Overview: The medical Center is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Open Heart ICU team. This role is critical for the recovery and care of patients following Open Heart Surgery and various cardiac procedures. As a dedicated member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care during the night shift in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized care for patients recovering from open heart surgery, including CABG, valve replacements, and ascending aneurysm repairs.
Operate and monitor critical care equipment such as cardiac Impella devices, intra-aortic balloon pumps, IV pumps, and renal reperfusion machines.
Proficiently perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac strips.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Must have experience with post-operative cardiac surgery recovery.
Skilled in epicardial pacing.
Must possess a West Virginia or Compact nursing license at the time of submission.
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination guidelines (medical/religious exemptions considered).
Flu vaccine status is unknown.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Pay Rate: $62.00/hour
Overtime Multiplier: 1.25% for over 40 hours in a week
Charge Nurse Differential: $3.00
On Call Pay: $5.00
Call Back Rate: 1%
Holiday Pay: 1.25% (Includes New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
Orientation: 16 hours, Non-Billable
Tier 2 Travel Compliance: Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not accepted.
