Your Role as a Med Telemetry Neuro RN
As a Med Telemetry Neuro RN , you’ll provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry unit. Here’s what you’ll do:
Patient Care:
- Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 , ensuring timely assessments, interventions, and documentation.
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment, identifying changes in condition and responding promptly.
Clinical Assessments:
- Collect and analyze comprehensive patient data to determine diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety, ensuring effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
Education & Advocacy:
- Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and positive outcomes.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrate teamwork, strong communication skills, and adaptability in a dynamic setting.

Who We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (required within 6 months of hire).
- Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Comfortable managing a high patient-to-nurse ratio (1:5 to 1:6).
