Job Posting: Med-Surg Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join our team, providing care for patients in a 24-bed unit. The primary goal is patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Observe, assess, and diagnose patient needs
Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications and Requirements:

Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred
Recent experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
Current Florida State Registered Nurse license (if a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire)
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
PC skills

Additional Information:

Shifts available for both nights and days
A minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in MED SURG TELE is required
Salary ranges from $29.00 for 1 year of experience to $42.13 for 10 years or more of experience, with a maximum of $42.13 for 17 years of experience
Differentials include $4.50 for nights and $1.50 for weekends
Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
A $15k sign-on bonus is available with a 2-year commitment
