Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $1,620-$1,890/week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team in Stuart, FL. As an RN in the PCU, you will provide specialized care to patients who require intermediate-level monitoring and treatment. This position offers a 13-week renewable contract and welcomes first-time travelers.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other relevant indicators.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Perform comprehensive assessments and document patients' progress and response to treatments.
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Respond efficiently and effectively to emergency situations.
Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care.

Requirements:

Valid and current license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum of 18 months of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
Preferred: 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
Experience with intermediate-level monitoring and treatment of patients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
COVID-19 vaccine required as per facility guidelines (Medical/Religious exemptions only).
