Emergency Room RN - Full-Time
Location: Ocala, FL

Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $30.60/hr (minimum) to $45.90/hr (based on experience)

  • Shift Differentials: +$4.25/hr (Nights), +$3.00/hr (Weekends; applies to 4+ productive hours)

  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for Night Shift

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

This position requires clinical expertise, strong decision-making, and excellent collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. ER nurses are vital to emergency care, handling a wide range of critical cases across all patient demographics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage, assess, and deliver patient care in a high-acuity setting

  • Monitor vitals, administer medications, and respond to medical emergencies

  • Manage patient records accurately using EMR systems

  • Educate patients and families on procedures and follow-up care

  • Collaborate with physicians and staff in urgent and trauma situations

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, HIPAA, and infection control protocols

  • Actively participate in training, continuing education, and quality initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (ED, ICU, or PCU preferred)

  • Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must convert within 60 days)

  • Certifications Required:

    • BLS (American Heart Association) – within 30 days of hire

    • ACLS (AHA) – within 90 days

    • PALS or ENPC – within 90 days

    • TNCC – within 6 months

    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – within 6 months

  • Paramedic background is a plus
