About the Role

Join a premier healthcare provider at a 221-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Sanford, FL , and make a meaningful impact as an RN Cardiac Neuro Tele nurse. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional care to patients in a specialized 27-bed unit focused on Medical-Telemetry, Neuro, and Cardiac care , including post-CABG, MI, and chest pain patients. This is a full-time position with day and night shifts available, offering competitive pay, generous bonuses, and relocation assistance (case by case).

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Observe, assess, diagnose, plan, and evaluate patient care to ensure safety and satisfaction.
✔️ Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
✔️ Provide health teaching, counseling, and wellness promotion to patients and families.
✔️ Monitor telemetry readings and respond promptly to cardiac and neurological changes.
✔️ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
✔️ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

🔹 Active RN License (Florida license required; compact license accepted – must apply for FL license).
🔹 Nursing Diploma or ASN Required | BSN Preferred.
🔹 1+ Year of Recent Acute Care RN Experience Required (Telemetry and Cardiac experience preferred).
🔹 Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification Required.
🔹 NIHSS Certification Required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
🔹 Travel experience not preferred – stability in prior roles is key.

Shift Details & Differentials

🔹 Available Shifts:

• Days (Rotating Weekends).
• Nights (Rotating Weekends).

🔹 Shift Differentials:

• Nights: $4.50/hour.
• Weekends: $1.50/hour.
