Job Title: CT Technologist (Cardiology/Radiology)

Location: Jefferson City, MO 65101

Shift: 4x10-Hour (20:30 - 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,232-$2,604/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team in Jefferson City, MO. This position offers a night shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and related procedures on patients in the cardiology and radiology departments.
• Prepare patients for CT scans, explain procedures, and address any concerns or questions.
• Set up and operate CT equipment following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Position patients correctly and apply immobilization devices as necessary.
• Administer contrast agents when required and ensure patient safety during the procedure.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during CT scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate images and assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, procedure details, and any adverse reactions.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably 2 years.
• Valid ARRT certification as a CT Technologist.
• Proficient in performing CT scans and using CT equipment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed.
